About Langhem Selection
Built in the Langhe — for guests who prefer discretion, consistency, and depth.
A LIFE SHAPED BY WINE
The work is quiet. The standard is not.
I was born into wine long before I learned its vocabulary.
I grew up in Piemonte, surrounded by vineyards, cellars, and conversations that revolved not around success, but around decisions—when to wait, when to intervene, and when to leave things untouched. Both of my parents are enologists, and from an early age I learned that wine is not something you “make,” but something you accompany. It teaches patience, humility, and discernment. It also teaches you that quality is never accidental.
Becoming a sommelier was not a turning point, but a refinement. It gave structure and language to what had already been absorbed through years of tasting, observing, and listening. What mattered to me was never collecting labels or trends, but understanding why certain wines endure—why some bottles remain relevant decades later, while others fade quickly, no matter how loudly they were once celebrated.
Today, my work focuses on a carefully selected group of producers, chosen without compromise. Some are small, some are internationally respected, but all share the same philosophy: precision over volume, integrity over visibility. Many of the wines I work with are not easily found. Not because they are rare by strategy, but because they are produced thoughtfully, in limited quantities, and without shortcuts. Access comes from trust, not demand.
Langhem Selection was created to translate this philosophy into experience.
In Piemonte, I curate private dinners and gatherings that are intimate by design. The focus is not spectacle, but balance—between food, wine, and conversation. Each experience is shaped by season, place, and the people at the table. Abroad, I host discreet pop-up dinners and private events for clients who seek the same level of thoughtfulness outside Italy. Whether at home or elsewhere, the intention remains unchanged: to create moments that feel natural, considered, and quietly memorable.
The Wine Club was born from a similar instinct. It is not a catalogue, nor a subscription built on abundance. It is a curated selection for those who value continuity and trust. Each shipment reflects my personal involvement—wines chosen because they deserve space, time, and attention. Some bottles are familiar, others unexpected, all are selected with the same criteria I apply to my own cellar.
Private Allocation exists for a smaller circle. It is reserved for clients who understand that the most interesting wines are often not marketed, and that access is built slowly, through relationships. These allocations are not guaranteed, and they are never scaled. They are offered when it feels appropriate, and only when the wines meet the standards that define my work.
Throughout everything I do—whether a dinner, a collection, or a collaboration—my role is not to impress, but to guide. To remove noise. To offer clarity. To make sure that what reaches the table or the glass is worthy of the time and trust invested.
Langhem Selection is not about luxury as a concept. It is about consistency, discretion, and depth. It is built for those who do not need to be persuaded, but who recognize quality when they encounter it.
